During the 1980s Sylvia created her 'Crochet Originals' – mostly cardigans, sweaters, waistcoats (vests) and coats – which were sold in London, the USA, Germany and Japan. Sylvia would use multi-textured yarns she hand dyed herself in her 'smudgy' colours, which her talented out-workers would use creatively under her direction to make unique garments Crushed Mulberry Cardigan
