Ruth says: "I have had a lifelong feeling and appreciation for textiles, learning as a child of 10 to crochet a giant granny square that grew as I grew. I have written "The Art of the Quilt" and more recently discovered the joy of spinning, dyeing and felting. I have recently acquired a rigid heddle loom and my ambition in life is to combine all these crafts into a giant fibre-fest of life!!!"
